Job summary

JDR Electrical is seeking an experienced, trade-qualified electrician to join our Sunshine Coast team on a full-time basis. You’ll work across residential and light commercial projects, including real estate maintenance, fault finding, renovations, installations and new builds.

You’ll need to be reliable, communicate well with customers, and capable of working independently when required while contributing to larger projects with the team.

Qualifications

• Current QLD Electrical Licence.
• Current Driver’s Licence.
• Residential maintenance and fault-finding experience.
• Good knowledge of AS/NZS 3000 Wiring Rules.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Work independently when required while supporting the team on larger projects.
• Carry out residential and light commercial electrical tasks across the Sunshine Coast.
• Communicate clearly with customers to explain work and results.

Join the growing team at JDR Electrical, a local electrical contractor servicing the Sunshine Coast. We’re looking for an experienced, trade-qualified electrician to join our team full-time.

We carry out a varied mix of residential and light commercial work, including real estate maintenance, fault finding, renovations, installations and new builds.

No two days are quite the same. You’ll need to be confident working independently when required, while also working well as part of the team on larger projects.

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, takes pride in their work and communicates well with customers.

What We’re Looking For

• Current QLD Electrical Licence
• Current Driver’s Licence
• Residential maintenance and fault-finding experience
• Good knowledge of AS/NZS 3000 Wiring Rules
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Able to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable, but not essential:

• Air conditioning licence
• Data and communications experience
• Blue Card, or willingness to obtain
