Job summary

Corporate Electrical Contractors – Nowra NSW is seeking a self-motivated Electrician to provide electrical installations, repairs and maintenance for residential premises across Nowra and surrounding areas. The role requires delivering preventative and responsive maintenance under limited direction, with emphasis on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• CPR and LV Rescue qualification current.
• General Construction Induction (White) Card current.
• Working at Heights qualification preferred.
• First aid certificate preferred.
• Experience in photovoltaic systems (Grid-connect) desirable.
• Level 2 overhead/underground and/or metering experience desirable.
• Open cabling Licence/Telecommunications Cert II (or equivalent) preferred.
• Valid manual driver's licence with no restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical installations, repairs and maintenance services to residential premises.
• Deliver preventative and responsive maintenance to residential sites across Nowra and surrounding areas.
• Contribute to condition assessments and reports.
• Manage and meet response times, deadlines and safety obligations.
• Provide technical advice in support of alternative proposals / equipment replacement programs.
• Offer ideas and support for innovation.

The Role

To provide electrical installations, repairs and maintenance services to residential premises.

We currently have an opportunity for a self-motivated, reliable Electrician under limited direction, will be required to deliver preventative and responsivemaintenance services to residential sites across Nowra and surrounding areas.

This position will deliver a range of services including;

• Preventative andresponsive maintenance to electrical systems and equipment including but not limited to;
• General lighting and power services
• Electrical installations and maintenance
• Contribute to condition assessments and reports
• Actively manage and meet response times, deadlines and safety obligations
• Provide technical advicein support of Alternative Proposals / Equipment Replacement programs
• Provide ideas and support innovation

Skills and Experience

Current qualification in CPR and LV Rescue

Current General Construction Induction (White) Card

Current Working at Heights qualification preferred

Current first aid certificate preferred

Experience in photovoltaic systems (Grid-connect) (highly desirable)

The successful candidates will have a sound knowledge of relevant AS 3000 standards, Possess a strong work ethic, achieve highest level of safety, quality of work and have a genuine passion for excellent customer service. Also able to work solely or in a team environment.
