RecruitShop is seeking a licensed Victorian A Grade Electrician for a Melbourne-based role delivering reactive maintenance and small project works across commercial sites and Government housing.

You will diagnose faults, perform safe electrical installations, manage the company van and complete required paperwork, while contributing to safety and quality on every job. On-call roster is 1 in 8 weeks, with a competitive hourly rate and local work across the West & Inner Melbourne.

Qualificações

• Victorian A Grade Electrician Licence required.
• Proven experience in commercial electrical maintenance and service work.
• Experience with Government housing or residential maintenance is highly regarded.
• Solid knowledge of Australian Standards and safety compliance.
• Willingness to participate in 1 in 8 week on-call roster.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.
• Residence in Melbourne's western suburbs or within 5–10 km of the CBD.

Responsabilidades

About The Opportunity

The primary purpose of this position is to deliver safe, high-quality electrical services across commercial sites and Government housing, with a focus on reactive maintenance and small project work.

Reporting directly to Operations Manager, some of your responsibilities will include:

• Attending reactive service and maintenance callouts across commercial sites
• Diagnosing and rectifying electrical faults efficiently and safely
• Completing small electrical project works from start to finish
• Carrying out electrical works within Government housing properties
• Managing your company van, including stock, tools and equipment
• Completing job sheets, compliance documentation and testing records
• Ensuring all work meets Australian Standards, including AS/NZS 3000

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• A current Victorian A Grade Electrician's Licence
• Proven experience in commercial electrical maintenance and service work
• Experience in Government housing or residential maintenance (highly regarded)
