Job summary

Crossmuller is seeking a qualified Electrician with industrial and commercial experience to join our Contracting Team based on the Central Coast of New South Wales. You will work across multiple disciplines, including commercial and industrial electrical work, on a range of high-profile projects.

To succeed you will hold a current NSW Driving Licence and WHS white card, be able to interpret schematics, and demonstrate extensive knowledge of AS3000 with a strong commitment to safety.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Crossmuller is an innovative and progressive multi-disciplined company specialising in manufacturing design, automation and systems integration. Our Engineering division designs and constructs manufacturing facilities, refurbishes existing facilities and designs and constructs automation plant for manufacturing plants and warehouses.

We are currently seeking a qualified Electrician with industrial and commercial experience to join our Contracting Team based on the Central Coast of New South Wales.

Whilst working within the Contracting team you will be exposed to multiple disciplines throughout the electrical trade including Commercial and Industrial.

To be considered for this role you will be able to meet the following essential selection criteria:

• A current NSW Driving Licence
• Current WHS white card
• Able to interpret electrical schematics and controls
• Goodknowledge of AS3000 and be able to demonstrate extensive knowledge in all facets of electrical work and a firm commitment to safe work practices
• Ability to liaise with builders, foremen and project managers during contract works
• Industrial and control experience
• Proven ability to work effectively within a team as well as independently
• Be available to travel when required to other locations
• Ability to adapt to a constant changing work environment and scheduling
• Takes pride in their work and completing projects to the highest of standards
• Willingness to train apprentices with a positive attitude to ensure they become the best tradesperson

The following qualifications are not essential but will be highly regarded in the selection process:

• Cert IV in Electrotechnology or a Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• Elevated Work Platform Licence
• Confined Space
• Emergency First Aid / CPR
• Working at Heights
• Low Voltage Release and Rescue

This is a full-time permanent position within our Contracting team. To be successful in this role you must be self-motivated and be willing to put in the work needed to complete jobs in a timely manner. Attention to detail and highest quality workmanship are paramount.

As part of the selection process, applicants must be prepared to undergo a pre-employment medical examination which includes functional, audiometric and drug and alcohol testing.

Rate will be negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
