Job summary

We’re a Gold Coast HVAC and electrical contractor seeking a licensed electrician who wants to become a dual trade by earning a Cert III in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration, paid by us and done on work time.

You’ll work on fault finding, repairs, testing and compliance in residential through to commercial settings, with a 4-day week, a fully stocked company vehicle, and factory training through Mitsubishi Heavy Industries.

Qualifications

• Current QLD electrical work licence.
• Driver's licence.
• Keen to learn air conditioning; Cert II in A/C or any A/C experience is a bonus.
• Full Australian working rights – no sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Job description

We’re a Gold Coast HVAC and electrical contractor and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Premium Service Agent, doing asset management and compliance work for residential, real estate and commercial clients from Tweed Heads through to north Brisbane and Ipswich. We’re looking for a licensed electrician who wants to become a dual trade. We’ll put you through your Cert III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, paid for by us and done on work time.

What the work looks like

Electrical: mostly fault finding, repairs, testing and compliance, with some install.
Air conditioning: maintenance, breakdowns and install - a lot of breakdowns and repairs, so you’ll learn to diagnose, not just hang splits.
Residential through to commercial.

4-day week, Mon-Th 7am-5pm, no weekends, no on-call
$50-$55/hr + super depending on experience
