Job summary

TAFE NSW is seeking world-class educators to inspire the next generation of Electrical Trades students across Hornsby, Meadowbank, St George and Sutherland campuses. This permanent full-time role follows the Paid to Learn pathway with ongoing professional development and student-centered teaching.

Successful applicants will bring strong industry experience, appropriate teaching qualifications, and NSW electrical licensing, with guaranteed work after completing the 14-week program.

Qualifications

• Have appropriate subject knowledge and vocational qualifications with a minimum level of Electrical Trade Certificate (Certificate III) or equivalent.
• Evidence of holding teaching qualifications to deliver Vocational Education and Training (or willingness to undertake a full-time 14 week Paid to Learn course).
• Minimum of five years post-qualification experience relevant to the electrical industry, within the last five years.
• Must hold an appropriate NSW Electrical License (Endorsed Contractor Certificate or Qualified Supervisor).

Responsibilities

• Deliver VET Electrical Trades teaching across campus sites.
• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Ensure safety compliance and supervision in workshop environments.
• Collaborate with campus staff and industry partners to enhance learning outcomes.
