Job summary

UGL Energy and Industrial seeks a Trades Assistant to join the Muchea BESS project in WA. You will support construction teams with hands-on tasks, safety compliance and quality workmanship on site.

Successful candidates will hold a valid drivers licence and Construction White Card, with experience in civil construction or energy projects. This role is local, permanent, and offers long-term employment with competitive rates.

• Must have a valid Australian drivers licence.
• Construction White Card required.
• Desirable safety tickets and machine operation experience.
• Experience on Construction, BESS, wind farms or civil projects.

UGL Energy and Industrial are currently recruiting Trades Assistant to join our team on the Muchea BESS project in WA! We are seeking team players with a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety and a drive to deliver high quality projects.

• 10/4 Local role, permanent position on the Muchea Project
• Excellent rates/conditions, BESS project, long term employment

Key Requirements

• Drivers licence
• Construction White Card
• Working at Heights, EWP and forklift (Desirable)
• Experience working on Construction, BESS, wind farms or civil infrastructure projects
• Operating tickets (Road Roller, Skid Steer, Excavators, dozers)
• Desirable Personal Attributes
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills
• Positive attitude toward safety and continuous improvement
• Ability to adapt quickly to new processes and technology
• Practical problem‑solving and relationship‑building capabilities
• Reliable, proactive and committed to high-quality work
