Job summary

Renewable Energy Systems Ltd in Queensland is seeking an experienced electrical technician to maintain and troubleshoot solar and BESS infrastructure near Chinchilla. You will conduct planned maintenance, diagnose faults, and perform advanced diagnostics to keep plant performance at its best.

The role requires extensive electrical maintenance experience and a valid QLD Electrical Licence, Driver’s Licence, CPR/LVR and First Aid certificates.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in electrical maintenance, repair, and installation.
• Experience in the solar or BESS renewable energy sector (desirable).
• Valid QLD Electrical Licence, Valid Driver’s Licence, Current LVR/CPR certificate, First Aid certificate.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned maintenance inspections, fault finding, corrective maintenance repairs, and advanced diagnostics.
• Help develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and mentor team members.
• Work collaboratively to ensure optimal plant performance.
• Maintain high standards of safety and compliance at all times.
