BGIS Technical Services is seeking skilled Electrical Technicians to join our on-site team at Sydney Airport, Mascot, NSW. You will deliver planned and reactive electrical maintenance across client facilities, including emergency lighting, smoke alarms, switchboards and general electrical infrastructure, ensuring work is safe, efficient and BGIS quality compliant.

This permanent full-time role supports essential airport infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Electrotechnology required.
• Qualified Supervisors Licence (or equivalent) required.
• White Card (Construction Induction) required.
• Current Driver’s Licence required.
• Full working rights in Australia (essential).

Responsabilités

• Deliver planned and reactive electrical maintenance across client facilities.
• Conduct fault finding, repairs, and upgrades across electrical systems.
• Service and maintain emergency lighting, smoke alarms, switchboards, and general electrical infrastructure.
• Complete work orders within required timeframes using BGIS systems.
• Support and mentor apprentices and junior technicians where required.
• Oversee and coordinate subcontractors when required.
• Ensure all works comply with WHS, compliance, environmental, and quality standards.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and safe work practices across service delivery.

The Role

BGIS is seeking skilled Electrical Technicians to join our team, delivering high-quality electrical maintenance, repairs, and minor works across commercial client facilities.

This is a permanent full-time shift role supporting essential airport infrastructure and electrical assets. You’ll be responsible for planned and reactive electrical maintenance across systems including emergency lighting, smoke alarms, switchboards, and general electrical infrastructure, ensuring all works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to BGIS quality standards.

What You’ll Be Doing

Your Education, Experience & Skills

• Certificate III in Electrotechnology
• Qualified Supervisors Licence (or equivalent electrical licence)
• White Card (Construction Induction)
• Current Driver’s Licence
• 1 or more years of post-trade electrical maintenance experienceStrong fault-finding and electrical maintenance skills
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Full working rights in Australia (essential)
