Position
  • Grid-Connected Solar Farm - Power Station & Inverter Maintenance
  • OEM Electrical Technician - Site-Based QLD
  • Fulltime Dayshift Role - Competitive Salary Package
  • Seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician who wants an “above ground” role every day. You will work for the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the power station (Inverters & Transformer) on this grid-connected solar farm in QLD.
  • ROLE
  • Scheduled and preventative maintenance focused on the solar farm power station (inverters & transformer)
  • Work from equipment blueprints, electrical schematics & mechanical diagrams
  • Breakdown & repair maintenance as required
  • Work adhering strictly to all HSE systems, procedures & regulations
  • Provide support to the site Operations & Maintenance crew on broader site maintenance
  • Available for call-outs / emergency breakdowns when required
  • YOU
  • Industrial maintenance knowledge & capability gained in power generation, manufacturing, mining or similar
  • Strong WHS Knowledge, awareness, and attitude
  • Fault-finding experience ideally with power conversion equipment such inverters, VSDs, VVVFs
  • QLD Electrical Licence
  • Australian Drivers Licence
  • Computer literacy
