Job summary

STACK Infrastructure builds, owns, and operates hyperscale and colocation data centers. The Electrical Systems Specialist – Field Engineering will ensure safety, reliability and performance of critical electrical infrastructure within a live data centre.

The role focuses on UPS systems, battery infrastructure, and power distribution, while also supporting HV/LV systems, transformers, switchboards, generators and protection systems.

Qualifications

• Must have trade, diploma, or degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Extensive experience with mission-critical electrical systems (data centres, utilities, hospitals, industrial facilities).
• Strong on-site switching and fault-finding capability.
• Experience with protection coordination and discrimination studies.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical specialist for UPS systems, batteries, HV/LV distribution, transformers, switchboards, generators, and related controls.
• Monitor UPS loading, battery condition, alarms, and equipment performance.
