Job summary

PHE Mining is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent for a remote underground mine site. You will lead the electrical team, drive safety, and work with a respected client to deliver on time, quality, and budget.

Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will oversee project delivery, planning, and reporting, with a focus on cost controls, schedule, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Relevant State Electrical Licence is required.
• CPR/LVR certification (within 9 months) is required.
• C Class driver's licence (unrestricted) is required.
• White/Blue Construction Card is required.
• Minimum 3 years in a supervisory role, mining experience preferred.
• Mining Supervisor certification (S123) desirable but not essential.
• Experience with cost, scope and schedule control and QA/budget management.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of supervisors and set safety and performance standards on site.
• Assist the Project Manager with daily operations and project delivery.
• Monitor progress and report on cost, scope, and schedule.
• Review plans and drawings to support estimating and pricing strategies.
• Maintain detailed records of work-in-progress and project communications.
• Complete daily and weekly project reports.

Job description

We're looking for an experienced Electrical Superintendent with a strong mining background to join our team at a remote underground mine site. In this role, you will:

• Lead a team of supervisors and set the standard for safety and performance on site

ABOUT YOU:

• Positive attitude and strong problem-solving skills
• Proven leadership in site safety and team management
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a Supervisory role (mining experience preferred)
• Previous underground mining experience highly regarded
• Mining Supervisor certification (S123) desirable but not essential
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 (Excel, Teams)
• Experience interpreting project schedules (MS Project or Primavera)
• Quality assurance and budget management experience

The successful candidate will have:

• Relevant State Electrical Licence
• Current CPR/LVR (within the last 9 months)
• Current Unrestricted C Class Driver's Licence
• White / Blue Construction Card

Desirable but not essential:

• High-risk work License (with WP class)
• Working at Heights (Completed in the last 16 months)
