Job summary

O'Brien Glass Industries Limited in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to join a growing, award-winning team. You will lead electricians and apprentices, plan and supervise installation, testing and commissioning, and help maintain a safe, productive work site.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and supervising a trades team
• Strong understanding of electrical installations, testing and commissioning
• Proven commitment to safety and quality on site

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the team under the support of a Site and/or Project Manager
• Leadership tasks include project organisation, coordinating staff and internal resources and organising material
• Plan, assign, schedule, forecast and supervise the work of electricians and apprentices engaged in the construction, installation, testing and commissioning
• Quality control
• Promote a safe work environment and elevate any concerns to the WHS Office and/or Project Manager
