Job summary

Aurizon seeks an Engineer to advance our Civil and Electrical Rail Infrastructure projects. You will plan and manage construction activities, coordinate with multiple teams and ensure works meet design specifications and safety standards across the rail network.

We require a Bachelor in Electrical Engineering with 3-5 years HV experience, and a willingness to travel. Aurizon offers development opportunities and a supportive, diverse workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Electrical) or equivalent.
• 3-5 years’ high voltage engineering experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage construction works and technical aspects including cost estimates, resources, materials, staging and programmes.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with design docs, standards and safe rail operation.
• Prepare quality and certification documentation.
• Resolve technical issues and support day-to-day construction activities.
• Travel across Central Queensland Coal Network as required.
