About The Role

Join the pioneering team delivering Australia’s first pumped hydro project in over 40 years. As a Electrical Project Engineer, you will support the delivery of electrical works across a major Hydro Pump infrastructure project, with a strong emphasis on quality assurance. Working a 14/7 FIFO roster, you will play a key role in managing documentation, supporting final closure, and ensuring compliance with standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of QA documentation (ITPs, SWMS, RFIs, NCRs), with a focus on final closure requirements.
  • Assist in delivering electrical works, including procurement, installation and commissioning.
  • Plan and coordinate electrical installations such as cable systems, switchgear, lighting, generators and SCADA.
  • Review and interpret designs and documentation to ensure compliance with Australian Standards (AS3000, AS3008, AS2507, S009).
  • Support cost tracking, progress reporting, construction planning and issue resolution across the project lifecycle.
About you

You are an experienced Electrical Project Engineer with solid technical capability and a strong grounding in electrical installation, design review, and construction delivery. Most importantly, you bring exceptional Quality Assurance skills, with experience driving documentation and close‑out processes on complex projects. You thrive in a team environment, communicate clearly, and bring a proactive mindset to problem‑solving and continuous improvement.

You Will Ideally Bring
  • An Australian recognized degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • A white card and current Australian driver’s licence.
  • Proven experience in QA documentation and project close‑out.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical standards and construction methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Hexagon and AssetHive (desirable).
