Job summary

Evolution Mining is seeking an experienced mining electrician to own electrical maintenance across surface, underground, and remote assets at Mungari Operations. You’ll lead critical infrastructure, coordinate contractors, and make hands-on technical decisions in a diverse field environment.

Based in Western Australia, the role offers DIDO or FIFO options and a pathway to enhance safety, reliability, and operational performance, with competitive incentives and relocation support.

Qualifications

• Current Western Australian Electrical Licence.
• Statutory Supervisor (S26) qualification or the ability to obtain it.
• Proven experience working within a mining operation.
• Demonstrated experience leading or coordinating contractors in a mining or heavy industry environment.
• Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience across electrical infrastructure.
• Ability to work autonomously, prioritise competing demands and make sound decisions in the field.
• Physical capability to perform hands-on work, including working at heights and attending remote infrastructure locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical maintenance activities across surface, underground, open pit and remote locations.
• Coordinate contractors and ensure work is performed safely and to a high standard.
• Drive statutory compliance through isolations, inspections, audits and corrective actions.
• Respond to planned and reactive maintenance with sound field decisions.
• Support infrastructure projects and continuous improvement to safety and reliability.
