One of Australia’s largest mines and a complex minerals processing operation, Olympic Dam, is unique in that we produce Copper, Uranium, Gold and Silver. The local township of Roxby Downs is an active and progressive community offering a variety of modern, well equipped housing, educational, health, sporting, leisure, shopping and cultural facilities.
Please note this position is based at Olympic Dam, operating on a 7 / 7 day / night roster pattern arrangement with residential, FIFO (from Adelaide) or DIDO options available.
We currently have a role available for an Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Technician to join our Mining Maintenance department. In this role you will be responsible for executing planned and unplanned maintenance activities on fixed plant within a mining environment. Your work will contribute to optimal production, equipment performance and availability, as well as improving reliability and ensuring that we are well placed for future growth within mining operations. You will be trained on the BHP Operating System (BOS), as well as contribute to the company’s focus on standardised work.
