Job summary

CSL Limited is seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician for Broadmeadows, Melbourne. The role focuses on troubleshooting, calibration, preventive maintenance, and breakdown support for electrical, instrumentation and control equipment within a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.

The position operates on a 12-hour rotating shift (2 days, 2 nights, 4 days off) with overtime and on-call allowances per the Enterprise Agreement.

Qualifications

Qualified Dual Trade Electrical (A Grade) and Instrumentation Technician (Cert 3)
Breakdown repair experience essential
Ability to read P&ID, electrical, and control diagrams for troubleshooting and safety compliance
Experience with Safe Work Method Statements and related safety protocols (JSA, Take5)
Experience in pharmaceutical, FMCG, or chemical production environments is desirable

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, calibrate, and perform preventive maintenance on instrumentation, control and electrical equipment
Provide breakdown support and contribute to equipment shutdowns and test runs
Ensure safety standards and pharmaceutical quality requirements are met
Report non-compliance and maintenance challenges to support product quality and patient safety
Share knowledge and collaborate with maintenance team to sustain a high-performing work environment
