Job summary

Sulzer Australia is seeking an Electrical Fitter to join our Perth Service Centre. The Production Worker / Technician will assemble, test, and inspect products to ensure quality and safety while supporting the manufacturing process.

This role requires a CERT III in Electrotechnology or above, plus experience rewinding DC motors and HV equipment, with a strong safety mindset and teamwork. On-site parking available.

Qualifications

• CERT III in Electrotechnology or above / equivalent.
• Experience rewinding DC motors and medium to High Voltage motors and generators.
• Excellent time management skills to keep things on track.
• Strong teamwork and safety-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain LV & HV electrical rotating machinery.
• Assemble and disassemble electrical rotating equipment.
• Conduct static and dynamic tests to ensure performance.
• Rewind electric motors and generators.
• Balance motors to maintain smooth operation.
• Order parts timely to keep production flowing.
• Take direction from Supervisor-Works Manager for day-to-day tasks.
• Attend onsite when required to perform repairs of rotating equipment.
