Job summary

Weststate Energy is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Estimator to join our Perth office on a full-time basis. You will be responsible for completing estimates and quotations, managing the full tender lifecycle, and coordinating with subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing and timely submissions.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years as an estimator, with mining and resources project experience, and strong client communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as Estimator.
• Experience with electrical contractor on mining and resources projects.
• Strong client focus and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete estimates and quotations.
• Manage full tender lifecycle from material take-off to client submission evaluating scope, drawings and specs.
• Liaise with subcontractors to evaluate and coordinate pricing.
• Prepare tender submission documentation including manning schedules and methodologies.

Job description

Weststate Energy are currently seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Estimator to join our team in our Perth office on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will have a proven record in estimating, negotiating and securing new Electrical and Communications projects.

Key responsibilities

• Completion of estimates and quotations
• Ability to manage the full life cycle of tender process, Material take off to client submission evaluating Scope of works, Drawings and Specifications
• Liaise with subcontractor personnel to evaluate and coordinate subcontractor pricing
• Preparation of tender submission documentation to client satisfaction including manning schedules and methodologies

About you

• 5+ years of experience as Estimator
• Previous experience working with an electrical contractor on mining and resources projects
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks
• Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
• High levels of computer literacy with a focus on MS Excel
• Strong client focus and communication skills

Essential Qualifications

• C Class Driver Licence
• Trade Qualified Electrician with large scale construction experience
