Job summary

CV Services Group in Brisbane is seeking an Estimator to prepare accurate and competitive tenders across electrical infrastructure and utility projects throughout Queensland. You will manage the full estimating process from tender review to submission and handover, collaborating with project managers, engineers and operations.

Ideal candidates will have experience estimating for electrical civil utilities, the ability to interpret drawings and tender documents, and proficiency with estimating

Qualifications

• Experience in an Estimator role within electrical, civil, utilities or infrastructure construction.
• Strong ability to interpret drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
• Experience preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions.
• Knowledge of subcontractor management and supplier engagement.

Your New Role

Join CV Services as an Estimator based in Hendra, responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders across electrical infrastructure and utility projects throughout Queensland.

Working closely with project managers, engineers and operational teams, you will manage the full estimating process from initial tender review through to submission and project handover. You will develop detailed cost estimates, engage with suppliers and subcontractors, assess project risks, and contribute to winning profitable work across a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects.

Experience in Underground Reticulation (URD), Large Customer Connections (LCC), Traffic Signals, Department of Main Roads (TMR) projects, Land Development works or Energex infrastructure will be highly regarded.

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Experience in an Estimator role within electrical, civil, utilities or infrastructure construction
• Strong ability to interpret drawings, specifications and tender documentation
• Experience preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions
• Knowledge of subcontractor management and supplier engagement
• Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office
• Trade qualification, engineering degree or relevant industry background
• Experience with Underground Reticulation, Large Customer Connections, Traffic Signals, TMR, Land Development or Energex projects will be highly advantageous
