Job summary

TasNetworks is seeking an Electrical Engineer Graduate to join a two-year fixed term program in Lutruwita/Tasmania. You will rotate across teams, learn the electrical network industry, and contribute to renewable energy initiatives. The role offers a base salary and strong development opportunities in a supportive environment.

Graduates will be encouraged to build partnerships, gain broad exposure, and start a rewarding engineering career within TasNetworks' network operations.

  • Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering (graduating 2025–2027).
  • Ability to self-motivate and build partnerships across the business.

Responsibilities

  • Work within collaborative teams to develop technical expertise across TasNetworks networks.
  • Learn the electrical network industry and contribute to renewable energy initiatives.
  • Gain diverse exposure by moving around the business during the program.

About the role

  • Offering a base salary of $93,886 per annum (plus super of 12%), plus many other employee benefits!

  • As an ElectricalEngineer Graduate, you will work within multiple collaborative teams to develop technical expertise across the TasNetworks distribution and transmission networks.

About you

To be successful in this role and to become part of our graduate program you will need to have a tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering(having graduated or be graduating in 2025-2027)and acurrent driving license.

The ability to self-motivate and build effective partnerships across the business to ensure the best solutions and results are achieved will see you succeed in this role.
