Alignerr is seeking an Electrical Engineering Expert for AI training to design challenging problems across circuit analysis, power systems, and signal processing. You will author gold-standard solutions with precise reasoning and audit AI outputs for accuracy, safety, and standards compliance.

This remote, flexible contract role lets you set your own schedule (10-40 hours/week) without mandatory meetings. Ideal candidates are pursuing or have a Master’s/PhD in Electrical/Electronic Engineering

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing or holding a Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Strong ability to communicate highly technical concepts clearly in written form.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote, async environment.

Responsibilities

• Design challenging problems across core EE domains - circuit analysis, power systems, signal processing, electromagnetics, VLSI, and control systems that push AI models to their limits.
• Author gold-standard solutions with rigorous, step-by-step technical reasoning that AI uses as a benchmark for learning.
• Audit AI-generated outputs including circuit diagrams, mathematical proofs, and code for technical accuracy, safety, and compliance with engineering standards (IEEE, NEC, etc.).
• Identify and correct reasoning failures in AI responses, providing structured feedback that improves how the model thinks through engineering challenges.
• Work asynchronously and independently on your own schedule - no meetings required.

About The Role
We're looking for electrical engineering experts to help train and improve cutting-edge AI models. Your deep technical knowledge will directly shape how AI does complex engineering problems — from circuit analysis to signal processing — making a real impact on the next generation of intelligent systems.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. You set your schedule and work as much or as little as suits you, between 10-40 hours per week.

Who You Are

• Pursuing or holding a Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a closely related field
• Strong foundational knowledge in one or more of: VLSI, control systems, telecommunications, power electronics, embedded systems, or RF engineering
• Able to communicate highly technical concepts clearly and precisely in written form
• Detail-oriented with a high level of precision when working with equations, circuit logic, and technical documentation
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote, async environment
• No prior AI experience required

Nice to Have

• Experience with data annotation, technical writing, or evaluation systems
• Familiarity with simulation tools such as MATLAB, SPICE, or similar
• Background in engineering standards bodies or standards-compliant design
