Job summary

KBR's Melbourne water team is seeking an Electrical Engineer to contribute to LV electrical design for water treatment and wastewater facilities across Victoria. The role focuses on schematics, equipment layouts, lighting, MCCs, and control systems, with exposure to SCADA, instrumentation, and PLCs.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams delivering major capital projects under long-term contracts, supporting safe and reliable water infrastructure.

Qualifications

Accredited Bachelor of Electrical Engineering or related field.
Design experience with knowledge of industry standards.
Ability to work in engineering and design modelling teams respecting scope, budget and program.
Experience in industrial, manufacturing, mining, construction or consulting.

Responsibilities

Design LV electrical systems including schematics and equipment layout.
Develop lighting, MCCs and communications systems.
Implement SCADA, instrumentation and PLCs for water plants.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on project scope, budget and schedule.
