Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.
• 2–3+ years’ experience in electrical engineering in transport, infrastructure, or resources sectors preferred but not required.
• Experience with AGi32, PowerCAD and AutoCAD is highly regarded.
• Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail and accuracy.
• Willingness to learn and adapt.
• Australian Citizenship preferred with ability to obtain Defence clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing electrical designs for LV and MV power systems, including drawings.
• Perform basic electrical calculations like maximum demand, cable sizing, and equipment selection under supervision.
• Support development of design reports, scopes of work, equipment schedules and drawing registers.
• Coordinate drafting with multidisciplinary project teams and participate in site visits during design and construction.
