Job summary

Zenith Energy is an independent power producer delivering reliable power solutions for remote and off-grid operations. The role focuses on hybrid power projects combining thermal generation, renewables and battery storage, applying MV/LV engineering across design, construction, commissioning and operations.

Reporting to the Electrical Engineering Manager, you will work with senior engineers, designers, project teams and suppliers to deliver safe, compliant electrical systems on both new projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years’ electrical engineering experience in industrial/mining/power sectors.
• Experience delivering medium to large-scale power generation and distribution projects.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to electrical design and reviews across generation, distribution, protection and control.
• Review single-line diagrams, load calculations, protection philosophies, earthing designs and specifications.
• Provide input into the selection of switchgear, transformers, RMUs, generators and associated equipment.
• Attend site to support construction and commissioning.
• Assist with fault investigations and improvements to operating assets.
• Contribute to standard designs, templates and engineering practices.
