Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer with 3 to 6 years' experience to join our Brisbane Building Services team.

You will contribute to electrical building services design across infrastructure, health, education and data centres, with exposure to large, multi-disciplinary programs. You will be supported by a team with mentoring and guidance to accelerate your development toward senior responsibilities, collaborating with colleagues across the broader WSP network to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) required.
• 3–6 years’ experience in electrical building services design.
• Knowledge of AS/NZS 3000 and NCC standards.
• Strong stakeholder coordination and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out assigned project and electrical engineering work in line with technical and commercial standards.
• Undertake engineering design and documentation including electrical power systems, lighting, communications and electronic security.
• Communicate effectively with clients, authorities and internal stakeholders across the project lifecycle.
• Work collaboratively within a multi‑disciplinary design environment and contribute to a positive, high‑performing team culture.

The opportunity

Our Property and Buildings Building Services team in Brisbane is growing and we are looking for an Electrical Engineer with 3 to 6 years’ experience to join a team known for its energy, ambition and genuine support for one another.

About you

• Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical).
• 3 to 6 years’ experience in electrical building services design, ideally within a consulting engineering environment.
• Understanding of relevant Standards and Codes (AS/NZS 3000, NCC etc.).
• Able to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and coordinate effectively with stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a team‑first mindset.
