LaserBond Limited is seeking an Experienced Electrical Engineer to join the Engineering Projects team in NSW. You will design, develop and commission electrical and automation control systems for SP machinery and robotic cells, using Allen-Bradley PLCs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in electrical/automation or process control engineering.
• Strong electrical control system design experience.
• Experience with HMI and industrial automation systems.
• Robotics or SP machinery experience is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Independent contributor with project focus and initiative.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop and support electrical and automation control systems from concept through commissioning.
• Develop and maintain PLC programs and control systems.
• Configure HMI systems and operator interfaces.
• Select electrical, control and automation components.
• Support machine and robotic system commissioning.
• Create electrical, control, operating and installation documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, suppliers and partners to deliver projects safely and on time.
• Troubleshoot and improve existing automation and control systems.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
