Job summary

Thermal Scanners is a leading provider of electrical compliance and thermal imaging services across South East Queensland. We are seeking a reliable and motivated Trade Assistant to support our electrical technicians across commercial and industrial sites throughout Brisbane.

This role suits someone with hands-on site experience who enjoys varied work, understands safe work practices, and wants to be part of a professional, growing team.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted driver’s license.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible availability.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assisting electrical technicians with inspections, testing, and site works.
• Setting up and maintaining safe work areas and exclusion zones.
• Handling tools, equipment, and materials as required.
• Following all WHS policies, procedures, and site requirements.
• Assisting with job safety analysis (JSA) and risk assessments.
• Meeting daily and weekly KPIs.
• Complying with reasonable instructions from technicians.
• Efficient driving, navigation, and time management between sites.
