Boss Controls is looking for a motivated Electrical Apprentice who wants more than just basic electrical experience.

We specialise in HVAC controls and Building Management Systems (BMS), working across major commercial construction projects throughout Sydney. Our clients include industry leaders such as Schneider Electric, Siemens and Johnson Controls.

This is an opportunity to complete your electrical apprenticeship while developing specialised skills in an industry that continues to grow.

About the Role

You will work alongside experienced electricians and technicians, learning how to install and wire HVAC control systems across commercial buildings, hospitals, data centres and other major projects.

Your work will include:

• Installing and wiring BMS control panels and field devices
• Running, terminating and labelling control cabling
• Installing sensors, actuators and associated electrical equipment
• Reading electrical drawings and control schematics
• Assisting with testing, commissioning and fault-finding
• Working across Tier 1 construction sites and service projects
• Attending TAFE and completing all apprenticeship requirements
• Maintaining high safety, quality and housekeeping standards

Who We’re Looking For

We’re not expecting you to know everything—we’ll teach you. However, we do expect you to turn up on time, listen, work hard and take pride in what you do.

This position would suit someone who:

• Is looking to begin or continue an Electrical Apprenticeship
• Is reliable, punctual and willing to learn
• Has a genuine interest in electrical work, controls and technology
• Takes pride in producing neat, high-quality work
• Can follow instructions and work well within a team
• Has good communication skills and attention to detail
• Holds a White Card or is willing to obtain one
• Has a current driver’s licence and reliable transport—preferred
• Is comfortable working across different project sites throughout Sydney

Previous construction or electrical experience is helpful but not essential. Your attitude and willingness to learn are what matter most.
