Job summary

Fast Electrics Pty Ltd in Balwyn North, Victoria is seeking a motivated 2nd–4th year Electrical Apprentice to join our expanding team. You will gain hands-on experience across installations, maintenance and repairs, with mentoring and direct support to grow in your electrical trade.

You must hold White Card, have basic hand tools, a valid driver’s license, and full Australian working rights; duties include travel to sites on Melbourne's east, safety-focused workmanship, and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Currently completed 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of electrical apprenticeship schooling
• Basic knowledge and safe use of hand tools
• Genuine interest in the electrical industry
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to doing the job correctly
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team
• Confident verbal communication skills
• Must have full Australian working rights (Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or valid work visa)
• Previous on-site or industry experience
• Own basic hand tools
• Ability to drive and access to a vehicle
• Driver’s Licence
• White Card (Construction Induction)
• Willingness to obtain a Working With Children Check
• Police Check (if requested)
• Commitment to workplace health and safety standards
• To be eligible for an apprenticeship or traineeship you must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have full working rights.
