Job summary

Porta Products offers an Electrical Apprenticeship in a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. You will learn hands-on alongside experienced tradespeople while gaining skills in automation, robotics and control systems.

The program includes nationally recognised trade training and progression toward becoming a qualified electrician. Applicants should be prepared for a pre-employment medical assessment, and will gain exposure to advanced technology and modern manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Completed year 12 or nearing completion.
• Certificate II in Electrotechnology completed or underway.
• Completed work experience in electrical trade, engineering or manufacturing.
• Genuine interest in technology, machinery and how things work.
• Strong literacy and numeracy, able to read technical docs, follow instructions and perform measurements/calculations.
• Commitment shown through school, sport, part-time work, volunteering or community involvement.
• Good attendance, reliability and positive attitude towards learning.

Responsibilities

• Learn from experienced tradespeople and industry professionals.
• Develop practical trade skills in automation, robotics and control systems.
• Support the team in a modern manufacturing environment and complete a trade qualification.
