Are you ready to take the reins on high-impact employment law matters for a major Commonwealth Government agency? Allygroup is seeking a Senior Employment Lawyer to manage a talented team and drive outcomes in a role that combines complex advisory work, litigation, and leadership. The Role

This is a senior-level contract opportunity at Special Counsel / Director level, offering the chance for high level employment law advisory services and practice within a dynamic, high-performing legal team.

You will:

  • Provide specialist advice on employment law in a Commonwealth context, including APS employment frameworks, enterprise agreements, and workplace relations.
  • Lead and mentor a team of legal professionals.
  • Manage strategic employment litigation and dispute resolution matters.
  • Know and ensure compliance with the Commonwealth's Legal Services Directions.
  • Employment law is the core focus, complemented by leadership responsibilities and stakeholder engagement at the highest level.

Applicants must be Australian citizens, be qualified as a Lawyer and hold a Baseline security clearance or higher.
