NRG Gladstone Operating Services – Gladstone QLD is seeking a fixed-term Electrician to join the Maintenance Department. The role runs Monday to Friday, 36.25 hours per week on a 9-day fortnight, with duties in hazardous area electrical work and EEHA responsibilities.

Essential qualifications include Certificate III or IV in Instrumentation and EEHA certification would be highly regarded. Experience in hazardous areas and heavy industry is preferred, with pre-employment checks required.

Qualifikationen

• Essential Qualifications and Attributes include: Certificate III or IV in Instrumentation would be highly regarded.
• EEHA (Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas) certification would be highly regarded.
• Demonstrated hands on experience with Hazardous Area installations, Relevant Australian Standards, and Hazardous Area installation inspections.
• Experience in power stations or other heavy industry would be highly regarded.

• Carry out specialised maintenance on electrical equipment in hazardous areas (EEHA).
• Provide timely repairs/inspections with emphasis on hazardous area systems and compliance.
• Deliver input into planning, standards, procedures and systems.
