Part-time Educator – New Long Day Care Service (LDC)

20–25 hours per week | 7 : 00 am – 6 : 00 pm (open and close shifts)

We are seeking a qualified, experienced educator for an exciting new Long Day Care (LDC) service launching in 2026, based on our existing kindergarten site in Kenmore.

Located within the Prep building at Our Lady of the Rosary Primary School , this small service has a strong community focus and is looking to grow. You will work closely with the Centre Director and play a key role in establishing and shaping the service.

Key Responsibilities :
  • Assist in the delivery of a high quality, inclusive, educational program
  • Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming and nurturing environment
  • To work as an effective team member to ensure the best outcomes for children and families

  • Promote the service within the local community in accordance with the Vision, Mission and Values of Catholic Early EdCare.
Job Requirements :
  • Diploma in Early Childhood Qualification (or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines) is preferred.
  • Experience within an education and care service
  • First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis
  • Working with Children Check (Blue Card) from the Queensland Government
  • Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework and National Law / Regulations.
  • Conversant with Early Years Learning Framework & the QLD Kindergarten Learning Guidelines
  • Effective oral and written communication within the workplace
