Job summary

Kool Kids Early Learning Centre - Nerang is looking for an experienced casual Assistant Educator to join a supportive team of qualified Early Childhood professionals. You will help create a stimulating learning environment and support children aged 0-5.

We offer above award wages, childcare discounts, access to online professional development, uniforms, and a supportive network across G8 Education centres. A WWC Check and First Aid are required.

Qualifications

• ACECQA approved Certificate 3 or Diploma in Children's Services.
• Understanding of EYLF and NQS.
• Experience as Educator in early childhood 0–5 years.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• First Aid certificate.

Responsibilities

• Support and contribute to an outstanding learning environment for children aged 0–5.
• Assist in daily learning activities and play-based learning.

About Us

Our children enjoy delightful indoor and outdoor play areas, rooms equipped with the latest age-appropriate technology and learning resources, and a range of activities.

At capacity our centre caters for up to 163children with operating hours from 6:30am to 6:30pm.

About You

• You will hold an ACECQA approved Certificate 3 or DiplomaQualification in Children's Services
• An understanding of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Proven Educator experience within an Early childhood service (working with children 0-5 years)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A current Working with Children Check
• First Aid certificate
