Job summary

Woodlands Long Day Care and Kindergarten is seeking an Educational Leader in Melbourne to guide pedagogical practice and strengthen outcomes for children. You will mentor educators, shape curriculum planning and assessment, and model reflective leadership within a collaborative centre leadership team.

You’ll implement the EYLF and approved learning framework, promote inclusive practices, and work with families to support children’s learning journeys.

Qualifications

• ACECQA-approved Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education.
• Strong knowledge of the EYLF, NQS and Quality Improvement Planning.
• Experience mentoring, coaching or leading early childhood educators.
• Passion for inspiring educators and improving outcomes for children.
• Collaborative and reflective leadership approach.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Commitment to a positive and inclusive team culture.
• Current WWCC or VIT, First Aid, CPR, Mandatory Reporting and Police Check.

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Educational Leader to join our St Kilda Road team and help shape the next chapter of our service.

The Role

As our Educational Leader, you’ll be at the heart of our educational practice. You’ll inspire educators to reflect, grow and continually strengthen the experiences we create for children.

You’ll bring energy, ideas and a strong understanding of what great early learning looks like, while supporting our team to turn this into everyday practice.
