Job summary

AGA is recruiting Education Support Workers for a specialist school on the outer northern suburbs of Melbourne. You will support children aged 5 to 18 with intellectual disabilities, under the guidance of experienced teachers, while completing a Certificate III in Educational Support at the Deer Park Training Facility.

The role offers Monday–Friday hours (approx. 30 hours/week) with mentoring and potential pathways into teaching or broader education roles.

Qualifications

• Must have a Working with Children Check.
• Live in close proximity or have a driver's license.
• Background in nursing is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist children aged 5 to 18 with intellectual disabilities.
• Work alongside experienced teachers in a school setting.
• Complete a 12‑month traineeship and attend classes.
• Weekly wage aligns with National Training Award rates; part-time schedule Monday to Friday.

Working a Monday to Friday roster (30-33hrs per week), you will assist children aged 5 to 18 years of age with intellectual disabilities, and work among highly experienced teachers while completing a Certificate III in Educational Support at our Deer Park Training Facility.
