Job summary

Department of Education in Western Australia is inviting applications to establish a pool of Education Support Teachers for permanent and fixed-term, full-time and part-time vacancies that may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 3, 2027. The roles involve planned, differentiated instruction and collaboration with families and external agencies to support students with disabilities.

Successful candidates will contribute to inclusive education at Cassia Education Support

Qualifications

• Must hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
• Australian or New Zealand citizenship, permanent resident status or valid visa with work rights for the term.
• WA Working with Children Check before start; and
• Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and a current Screening Clearance Number before start.

Responsibilities

• Plan, program and assess using an integrated curriculum, differentiated to meet individual student needs.
• Demonstrate effective classroom management and explicit teaching strategies.
• Lead and collaborate with Education Assistants to create a safe, supportive learning environment.
• Engage with families, therapists and external agencies to improve student outcomes.
