Job summary

Brisbane Catholic Education is seeking an Education Support role at St Mary MacKillop Primary School, Mary MacKillop School, Birkdale. 26.25 hours per week during term time, 8:30am–2:45pm with some flexibility. Salary $34.17–$35.62 per hour plus super, fixed term.

The successful applicant will support teachers, contribute to learning programs and interventions, and engage with diverse learners. Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration and Blue Card required.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Education Support is required.
• Experience in planning and delivering learning programs.
• Ability to monitor progress and apply interventions.
• Collaborative work with specialists and teachers.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, preparation and delivery of teaching programs using technology and learning support activities.
• Monitor student progress and identify learning gaps for intervention.
• Support diverse learning needs to improve student outcomes.
• Collaborate with specialists to coordinate intervention groups.
• Document observations and prepare classroom materials.
