Responsibilities

• Communicates with teachers on routine matters related to students and/or other responsibilities.
• Provides basic physical care and wellbeing support for students (toileting, meals, lifting).
• Interacts with students to support comprehension of basic tasks and information.
• Addresses immediate behavioural presentations within a classroom setting as per policy.
• Supports rostering and coordination of aides and educational programs.
• Provides medical intervention support under training and guidance.
• Provides AUSLAN and braille support to students and teachers.
