Kangaroo Flat Primary School is seeking an Education Support Class staff member to assist teachers, coordinate aide tasks, and support students under supervision. The role emphasizes collaboration within a school-based team, adherence to policies, and delivering inclusive support aligned with the RR policy framework.

The position focuses on wellbeing, literacy and numeracy support, and working within Learning Neighbourhoods to help students achieve personal best.

Responsibilities

Provides routine support for teachers including planning student routines.
Supports communication between teachers and parents.
Liaises with teachers on routine matters related to students and responsibilities.
Provides basic physical care and wellbeing support for students as needed.
Supports students with tasks and helps maintain classroom routines.
Co-ordinates and organises the work of aides under supervision.
