Correlate Resources Pty in Sydney seeks an Edge Infrastructure Engineer to manage distributed Linux and container platforms across edge locations and hybrid clouds. You will help build a scalable, secure edge stack and contribute to platform roadmaps.

The role focuses on automating built environments, patch management, and fleet operations using CI/CD, GitOps, Terraform and Ansible, with strong emphasis on OpenShift and Kubernetes expertise.

Competenze

• At least 7 years' experience in IT infrastructure or software engineering, with 2–3 years in a product or technical architecture role focused on edge computing or container platforms.
• Deep knowledge of Linux, particularly Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and experience with OpenShift and Kubernetes.
• Scripting experience with Bash, Python or Go.
• Hands-on experience with distributed edge deployments, container runtimes and hybrid control planes.
• Experience using Terraform, Ansible and GitOps approaches such as ArgoCD to move teams from manual configuration to code-based deployments.
• The ability to balance application teams' need for speed with security and operations requirements.
• Experience using telemetry to inform platform decisions and JIRA to manage backlogs, feature requests and technical debt.

What you’ll bring

• Experience using Terraform, Ansible and GitOps approaches such as ArgoCD to move teams from manual configuration to code-based deployments.
• The ability to balance application teams' need for speed with security and operations requirements.
• Experience using telemetry to inform platform decisions and JIRA to manage backlogs, feature requests and technical debt.
• Experience integrating security practices such as vulnerability scanning and policy-as-code into deployment pipelines.

A computing science degree or equivalent is expected. Red Hat certifications such as RHCE or EX280, and CNCF certifications such as CKA or CKS, are advantageous.
