The Opportunity

Wyong Hospital is one of two large public hospitals on the Central Coast. It is a busy regional hospital of approximately 300 beds and is a teaching hospital of the University of Newcastle. The hospital's emergency department is one of the busiest in the state and sees approximately 63,000 presentations per year. Twenty five percent of the presentations are paediatric.

The Location

Wyong is just an hour’s drive from Sydney and is a good base for starting your visit to Tuggerah Lake and the beautiful Yarramalong Valley.

Popular beaches include Bateau Bay, Toowoon Bay, Blue Bay, The Entrance, The Entrance North, Soldiers Beach at Norah Head, the lakes and Budgewoi beaches.

The area boasts some of Australia’s most rugged and scenic national parkland and recreation areas forming an impressive backdrop for the sweeping rural areas and coastal plains.
