Job summary

Seek is seeking an Early Childhood Teacher for a small, family-owned preschool on the Northern Beaches. You’ll help 3–5 year olds grow in confidence and readiness for school through play, building a warm, collaborative classroom community.

We value relationships, outdoor learning, and thoughtful teaching. You’ll contribute ideas, partner with families, and support colleagues while maintaining child safety and inclusion as top priorities.

Qualifications

• Hold ACECQA-approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification, or are a strong, experienced Diploma educator working towards your ECT and eligible to work as an ECT.
• Enjoy turning children's questions and discoveries into meaningful projects.
• Can bring intentional teaching into play without losing the joy of childhood.
• Build genuine partnerships with families and communicate with warmth and care.
• Support other educators through collaboration, encouragement and example.
• Take child safety, supervision and inclusion seriously.

We believe children learn best when they feel known, capable and excited to explore. We’re looking for an Early Childhood Teacher who shares that belief and wants to make a lasting difference for children aged 3–5.

Our Centre is small enough for you to know every child and family. You’ll join a team that values strong relationships, thoughtful teaching, outdoor play and the many different ways children show us what they’re learning.

What you’ll bring to the role

You’ll work with educators to create a preschool program that follows children’s interests while building the confidence, language, independence and social skills they need for school and beyond.
