Qualifications

PhD by the time of commencement in Economics or related field.
Growing profile in teaching and research in the discipline.
Active research program with pipeline of work expected to lead to publications.
Ability to deliver high-quality teaching at undergraduate, honours and postgraduate levels.
Experience in seeking external research funding, or clear intention to do so.
Capacity to coordinate courses and contribute to program development.
Ability to supervise honours and HDR students through to completion.
Contribute to internal and external service activities.

Responsibilities

Develop courses and course materials and deliver across undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Teach across a range of settings and contribute to educational practice and curriculum design.
Coordinate courses, prepare lectures and tutorials, and assess student work.
Maintain and improve course quality and student support.
Contribute to supervision of master’s and HDR students; engage in external service activities.
