Job summary

The Melbourne Clinic, part of Healthscope, is seeking a Mental Health Clinician to join the Eating Disorders Program in Richmond, Victoria. You will collaborate with allied health, nursing and medical staff to deliver evidence-based therapies in inpatient and outpatient settings.

Qualifications

• Qualification in an allied health profession (e.g. Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Dietetics, Art Therapy or Mental Health Nursing)
• Registration with AHPRA or eligibility for membership with professional bodies (AASW/DAA/ANZACATA)
• Experience with eating disorders
• Specialist training/credentialing in Eating Disorders preferred
• Minimum of 1–2 years of relevant clinical experience in eating disorders
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Experience with group therapy preferred
• Commitment to high ethical standards
• Current Working with Children Check

Responsibilities

• Provide short-term interventions to inpatients with complex presentations using various modalities
• Facilitate groups within the Eating Program and across programs
• Work within a multidisciplinary Allied Health team
• Attend multidisciplinary team meetings
• Contribute to program development and evaluation of policies
• Support quality improvement projects in the eating disorders program
