Job summary

Otraco International is seeking an experienced Tyre Technician for our Blackwater Mine site in Central Queensland to undertake planned and reactive tyre changes on mobile mining equipment and maintain service levels on site.

Candidates should have a Certificate II in Automotive Mechanical Tyre Fitting Heavy, a valid C Class licence, and 2 years of earthmover tyre fitting on mine sites; a Queensland Mining Induction is expected.

Qualifications

• Certificate II in Automotive Mechanical Tyre Fitting Heavy required.
• 2 years Earthmover tyre fitting on mine sites is expected.
• Valid Queensland C Class licence and Mining Induction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Undertake planned and reactive tyre changes on mobile mining equipment.
• Maintain service levels on site and ensure tyre fleet readiness.
