Job summary

Kids Planet Allerton is inviting you to join as an Early Years Apprentice, starting a training programme through the Kids Planet Training Academy to gain a qualification in Early Years. You’ll be supported by a long-standing team in a home-from-home nursery, centrally located near parks and bus routes.

The role focuses on learning to support, care for, and inspire children from birth to five, while safeguarding and building strong relationships with families.

Qualifications

• Meet minimum apprenticeship eligibility, including UK residence for at least 3 years.
• Pass maths and English entry assessments.
• Level 2 apprenticeships take ~15 months; Level 3 take ~18 months.

Responsibilities

• Support, care for, and inspire children during their earliest years, from birth to age five.
• Work as part of a successful team and liaise with parents to build warm, trusting relationships.

We’re now looking for an Early Years Apprentice to join our team, someone who’s ready to get stuck in, spark imaginations, and help children thrive. As an Early Years Apprentice, you will be enrolled on to a training programme through the Kids Planet Training Academy to gain a qualification in Early Years.

What an Early Years Apprentice needs:

To meet minimum apprenticeship eligibility criteria, including having lived in the UK for a minimum of 3 years.

To pass maths and English entry assessments.

As a guide, Level 2 apprenticeships take approximately 15 months to complete, and Level 3 apprenticeships take approximately 18 months to complete.

A Disclosure and Barring Service Certificate is mandatory for all positions, and this role will be subject to enhanced checks as part of our safeguarding duties.
