Early Parenting Unit Associate Nurse Unit Manager

Northpark Private is a 132-bed hospital located in the rapidly developing Northern Corridor of Melbourne and is operated by Healthscope a leading provider of private healthcare in Australia. We specialise in Mental Health Services including general psychiatry older persons and early parenting support as well as Obstetrics and surgical services.

Position Responsibilities

The position is responsible for providing clinical leadership to the ward / unit to compliment the strategic direction operational processes and quality management of all will provide clinical direction for the unit / ward to ensure efficient and effective management of the area and coordinate the delivery of nursing care that is evidence addition you will be accountable for the effective management of human financial and material resources and ensure customer service is maintained at optimal levels.

As the Associate Nurse Unit Manager you will undertake direct patient care as required providing guidance and support to less experienced members of the nursing team. We are looking for x1 Part-time permanent Night duty and x 1 Part time Flexible roster ANUM

Selection Criteria
  • Current Registration with AHPRA
  • Working with Children check
  • Experience in a Mental Health or Early Parenting Setting
  • Post Graduate Qualification in Mental Health or Maternal and Child Health
  • Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A strong commitment to developing in a management role
  • A commitment to a high standard of clinical and customer focused care
